On April 29th, the Connections Fabry event was held at the ICMAB, organised within the framework of Fabry Disease Awareness Month (April) and the European EIC Nano4Rare project; recognising that Fabry disease is a rare condition with a significant impact on the lives of those affected, the event aimed to bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, patients and patient associations to share knowledge, discuss key challenges and showcase current research, and featured expert talks by clinicians and researchers, presentations of ongoing research projects, as well as patient testimonials and contributions from patient associations.
